1) How did Geography play a role in Rome's Origins.
Geography played a big part in Rome's Origins. Rome was formed in the middle of the mediterranean region and a long peninsula to grow more food then Greece. Rome has the alps for natural protection and natural resources to built projects.The Soil in the peninsula brings rich soil and combined with the mild climate equals more food produce for bigger populations then Greece. The city of Rome was built on the plains of Latium in Italy by the Tiber River.

4) Who were the Etruscans?
The Etruscans were one of the early groups that joined Rome, but they shaped Rome to what we see today. The Etruscans came to Rome with other Groups around 750- 550 BCE. The Etruscans lived north, but soon moved south and took over rome. Etruscans are skilled metal workers, becoming rich from mining and trade. They enslaved people to do there work and make there like better and more comfortable. The Etruscans Change to hay covered hut into a city made of wood and bricks, made streets, and public buildings around a central square. Most importantly the Etruscans showed what a army should be and molded what the rome's army eventually becomes. They ruled rome for more than 100 years, under them rome becomes wealthy powerful. However the king/ ruling family , the Taquins, were cruel. There rain over the kingdom was over by 509 BCE. They formed a republic.

Rome had Excellent soldiers and there soldiers are practical problem solvers. In the early years All males that own land MUST serve in the army, no questions asked. There soldiers fought hard didn't give up so easily. They fought like greeks armies, holding there shield up and spear in another side by side, shoulder to shoulder. Roman generals soon realized that this fighting style was to slow and hard to control, so he created legions. Legions are made of 6,000 men and further divided into groups of 60 - 120 legionnaires. Legionnaires are soldiers within the legion of soldiers. They held swords called Gladies and a spear called pilum.

6)In what way were Rome Rulers Smart?
Roman fighters are not only tough but smart planners. When invading Italy they built permanent Military settlements and built road connecting other towns. Roads made soldiers to travel swiftly between settlements and other common people can use these roads as well. Romans created the roman Confederate to allow outsiders to get full citizen ship, vote, run for office, and are treated like everyone else. Those who didn't want Citizenship or didn't get it are called Allies. Allies are free to own land, have there religion, but must pay taxes. They proved themselves as clever rulers and conquered people are loyal to them. There Republic grew stronger ,stronger and unified.
