It formed many years ago around 2600 BCE and lasted until about 2300 BCE. The land was ruled by pharaohs that are believed that to be gods. They built pyramids and mummified the Pharaohs to protect the body. During this period of the old kingdom they develop medicine, culture, and trade. They also created what is what today's math is today.
